I graduated from Troy State University with a BS degree in Early Childhood Education.  I have been teaching Early Childhood for over 20 years.

I have been teaching Early Childhood, K-5, first, and second for 20+ years.  I also worked as a 4-H Agent's assistant and taught Adult Education F.I.T. classes.

Welcome to my webpage.  I am Laura Hixon, a  second grade teacher at Banks Primary School.  I am married and have three children.  We live on a farm in Banks, AL.  I am excited to be  in Banks.  I actually did my internship here with Mrs. Evelyn Watson in kindergarten.  I feel like I am "back home".  The children are wonderful and everyone makes teaching here a pleasure.
